What can I upload?
Video as MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, M4V, MPEG or MPG, and audio as MP3, WAV, AAC, M4A, FLAC, AIFF, OGA, OGG or Opus.
Help with uploads, credits, downloads and your account, plus a direct line to the people who run dubyourfile.

Up to 2 GB, and up to 180 minutes long. Anything over either limit is rejected during the upload, before a single credit is touched.
No. You pick the language you want the file dubbed into; the original is detected from the audio itself.
32, and any of them can be the target whatever language your file is in.
No, one job is one target language. For the same file in three languages, upload it three times and pick a different target each time. Each job costs its own credits.
That depends on the length of the file and on how busy the dubbing service is. The job updates its own status, so you can close the tab and come back to it. A job that has not finished after six hours is stopped and its credits are returned.
For 90 days after the job finishes. The file is deleted from our storage after that and cannot be brought back, so save anything you want to keep.
Dubbing is automatic and nothing is edited by hand afterwards, so single lines cannot be fixed on request. Clean source audio with one speaker at a time gives the best result. If a file came back broken rather than imperfect, write to us and we will look at the job.
You buy minutes and spend them on jobs. One minute of media costs one credit, always rounded up, with a minimum of one credit per file. Credits do not expire.
When you confirm a job, not when you upload it. We first hold the number of minutes we read from your file, then settle against the length the dubbing service reports: if it is shorter the difference comes straight back, if it is longer the extra is taken then. You pay for the real length either way.
Every credit charged for it returns to your balance automatically and the job is marked failed in your history. That covers a file the service rejects, a failure on its side, and the six hour timeout.
Payment runs through Stripe. If you need an invoice carrying your company details, write to us with the date of the payment and the address you paid from.
It is deleted as soon as the dub has been made, and within a day of the upload in any case if the job never got that far. Only the dubbed result is kept, for the 90 days above.
Request it again from the forgot password page and check your spam folder. Note that resetting a password signs you out on every device, so log in again afterwards. If nothing arrives at all, write to us from the address on the account.
Write to us from the address the account uses and say so. We delete the account, its job history and any files still stored for it.
